Official Rules

  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. The Lincoln RSVIP Sweepstakes ("Promotion") begins at 12:00:00 noon Eastern Time ("ET") on Monday, November 9, 2009 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on Friday, December 11, 2009 (“Promotion Period”). The Promotion is intended for participation only in the United States. Do not participate in the Promotion if you are not a legal resident of the United States at time of entry. Entry in the Promotion does not constitute entry into any other promotion, contest or sweepstakes. By participating in the Promotion, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Ford Motor Company ("Sponsor") and Realtime Media, Inc. (“Administrator”), which shall be final and binding in all respects. By participating in the Promotion, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Promotion Entities (defined below), their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, retailers, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from any and all damages whether direct or indirect, which may be due to or arise out of participation in the Promotion or any portion thereof, or the acceptance, use/misuse or possession of prizes.
  2. ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States residing in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico and all other United States territories). Entrants must be 25 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license at the time of Promotion registration. Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, Team Detroit, Inc., AOL LLC, and Realtime Media, Inc. (collectively, “Promotion Entities”), their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, their immediate families (parent, child, sibling & spouse) and persons living in the same households as such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. Void in Puerto Rico, all other United States territories, and where prohibited by law, rule or regulation. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
  3. HOW TO ENTER THE PROMOTION: LIMIT: maximum of one (1) Promotion entry per person per day. Subsequent Promotion entries in the same day from the same person will be disqualified. Any attempt by a person to receive more than one (1) entry in the same day and/or with multiple email accounts may result in disqualification at the discretion of the judges or Sponsor upon prize verification. For the purposes of the Promotion, a day shall mean a 24-hour period, beginning at 12:00:00 AM (Midnight) ET and ending at 11:59:59 PM ET, except for the first day which will begin at 12:00:00 PM (Noon) ET.

    To enter the Promotion, visit http://www.lincolnrsvip.com or http://www.lincolnmktrsvip.com during the Promotion Period. On this page you will be asked to register for the Promotion by entering your true and correct information on the registration form in all required fields. The registration form will also allow you to select which prize you would like to register to win. Submit the completed entry form as indicated to receive one (1) entry into the Promotion drawing for selected prize. THE PROMOTION IS OPEN ONLY TO REGISTRANTS AGE 25 AND OLDER AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION.

    4. Returning Participants: You are only required to complete the online registration form the first time you register for the Promotion. After initial registration and entry, you may return to the Promotion daily and follow the instructions to log-in. When you log-in, you will have the opportunity to again choose which prize you’d like to register to win. You may select a different prize than you chose during registration. You will receive one (1) entry into the Promotion drawing for selected prize each day you log in to the Promotion.

    Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. The authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. A potential winner may be required to provide Sponsor with satisfactory proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the potentially winning entry. In the case of a minor, the potential winner’s parent or legal guardian may be the authorized account holder. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, illegible or corrupted are void and will not be accepted. Information collected from entrant is used only for the purpose of the prize drawing and to notify winners, and will not be re-used, sold or shared in any manner by Promotion Entities or any third parties unless entrant has elected to receive additional information and promotional material from Sponsor or a third party. Once the Promotion has ended, all information supplied by entrants will be removed from the database. By entering the Promotion, you agree to all of the terms and conditions of Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, which is available at http://www.lincoln.com/privacy.asp.

  4. PROMOTION PRIZES, DRAWING, AND ODDS OF WINNING: Five (5) Grand Prize winners will be selected in an electronic randomized drawing from all eligible entries on or about December 15, 2009. Odds of winning a Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing. There will be one winner selected for each prize package listed below. Limit: One (1) prize per person and per email address and per household.

    a) RSVIP City Lights NYC Getaway Weekend (1): Winner and a guest will receive a trip to New York, NY for 4 days/3 nights. Trip includes hotel accommodations (one room, double-occupancy) at a Hotel chosen by Sponsor, round-trip airfare from the major U.S. gateway airport nearest winner's home to New York, NY, $1,000 for meals, a pair of tickets to a sporting or entertainment event worth up to $500 (event to be selected by Sponsor) and a $500 American Express gift card. Winner will also have the chance to test drive a Lincoln MKT vehicle. Trip must be taken by September 2010. Actual value may vary based on point of departure and dates of travel. Any difference between stated value and actual value will not be awarded. Total Trip ARV is $6,800.

    b) RSVIP Indulge Ultimate Spa Weekend (1): Winner and a guest will receive a trip to Miami, FL for 4 days/3 nights. Trip includes hotel accommodations (one room, double-occupancy) at a Hotel chosen by Sponsor, round-trip airfare from the major U.S. gateway airport nearest winner's home to Miami, FL, $500 for meals, $1000 for spa treatments and a $500 American Express gift card. Winner will also have the chance to test drive a Lincoln MKT vehicle. Trip must be taken by February 2010. Actual value may vary based on point of departure and dates of travel. Any difference between stated value and actual value will not be awarded. Total Trip ARV is $6,800.

    c) RSVIP Apres Ski Luxury Ski Holiday (1): Winner and a guest will receive a trip to Aspen, CO for 4 days/3 nights. Trip includes hotel accommodations (one room, double-occupancy) at a Hotel chosen by Sponsor, round-trip airfare from the major U.S. gateway airport nearest winner's home to Aspen, CO, $500 for meals, ski passes, and a $500 American Express gift card. Winner will also have the chance to test drive a Lincoln MKT vehicle. Trip must be taken by March 2010. Actual value may vary based on point of departure and dates of travel. Any difference between stated value and actual value will not be awarded. Total Trip ARV is $8,800.

    d) RSVIP Tee-time Golf Weekend (1): Winner and a guest will receive a trip to Phoenix, AZ for 4 days/3 nights. Trip includes hotel accommodations (one room, double-occupancy) at a Hotel chosen by Sponsor, round-trip airfare from the major U.S. gateway airport nearest winner's home to Phoenix, AZ, $500 for meals, $2,000 to spend on spa treatments and/or golfing and a $500 American Express gift card. Winner will also have the chance to test drive a Lincoln MKT vehicle. Trip must be taken by April 2010. Actual value may vary based on point of departure and dates of travel. Any difference between stated value and actual value will not be awarded. Total Trip ARV is $7,300.

    e) RSVIP A-list See and Be Seen Weekend (1): Winner and a guest will receive a trip to Los Angeles, CA for 4 days/3 nights. Trip includes hotel accommodations (one room, double-occupancy) at a Hotel chosen by Sponsor, round-trip airfare from the major U.S. gateway airport nearest winner's home to Los Angeles, CA, $2,000 for meals, and a $500 American Express gift card. Winner will also have the chance to test drive a Lincoln MKT vehicle. Trip must be taken by June 2010. Actual value may vary based on point of departure and dates of travel. Any difference between stated value and actual value will not be awarded. Total Trip ARV is $9,300.

    Restrictions: Winner and Guest(s) must be able to travel by the date(s) specified by the Sponsor or prize will be forfeited and Sponsor will have no further obligation to such winner. Sponsor reserves the right to change the date as listed above. Specifics of all prizes are in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Exact trip dates need to be chosen within seven (7) days of paperwork completion, as described below. If winner resides within a 100-mile radius of city, ground transportation will be provided in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or substitution will be provided for the difference in prize value. Winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary and are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents. Guest must be of legal age of majority in his/her jurisdiction of residence (and at least 18), unless the child or legal ward of winner. Winner and Guest must sign a liability/publicity release prior to issuance of travel documents. If guest is child or legal ward of winner, winner must sign and return liability/publicity release on behalf of such child or legal ward. Travel must be made through Sponsor’s agent, on a carrier of Sponsor’s choice. Certain travel restrictions and blackout dates may apply. Winner and guest agree to comply with all prize rules and regulations. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of such portion of prize. All costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, including, additional ground transportation, taxes, luggage fees, meals, souvenirs, and gratuities are the sole responsibility of the winner. Flight details are subject to space availability and airline carrier’s regulations and conditions apply. The trip may not be combined with any other offer and travel may not qualify for frequent flyer miles. Any picture identification requirements associated with air travel and vehicle operation are the winner’s and guest’s responsibility. The Promotion Entities are not responsible for lost or mutilated travel documents or tickets and none will be replaced. Certain additional travel restrictions may apply. Airline tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and are not valid for upgrades. No prize substitution, cash equivalent of prizes, transfer or assignment of prize permitted, except by Sponsors in its sole discretion, due to prize unavailability for any reason, and only then for a prize of equal or greater value. Gift cards are subject to issuer’s terms and conditions.

    The total ARV of the Promotion Prizes is $39,000.

  5. PRIZE AWARDING: All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize will be awarded only upon winner redemption, confirmation, verification and final approval by Sponsor. No substitution, transfer of any prize or cash alternative permitted, except by Sponsor who reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, if prize, or portion of prize, becomes unavailable. If winner of any prize is a minor in their state of residence, prize will be awarded in the name of the minor to the parent or legal guardian. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. Any costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided are winners’ sole responsibility.

    6. Potential Grand Prize Promotion winner will be notified via phone and/or email within seven (7) days of the Promotion drawing. Potential winner will have five (5) days from receipt of winning notification to confirm that the notification has been received. If potential winner cannot be contacted; is ineligible; fails to claim the prize; if the prize notification is returned undeliverable; or if the potential winner otherwise fails to fully comply with these Official Rules, he/she will forfeit that prize and the prize will be awarded to an alternate potential winner chosen during the Promotion drawing.

    After confirming notification receipt, the potential winners will be sent via United States Postal Mail and/or overnight mail an Affidavit of Eligibility/Compliance & Publicity/Liability Release forms, a travel guest form, and a W9 form. These forms must be completed, signed, notarized and returned to Realtime Media within five (5) days. The potential winner then and only then becomes the winner. If the potential winning entrant of any prize fails to return the completed and executed Affidavit and Release; fails to claim the prize; or if the potential winner otherwise fails to fully comply with these Official Rules, he/she will forfeit that prize and the prize will be awarded to an alternate potential winner chosen during the Promotion drawing.

    Any taxes, fees, or incidental costs including but not limited to income taxes which may arise and be due or asserted on account of the prize shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. A 1099 tax form will be the responsibility of the winner. Winners agree that receiving a prize grants Sponsor the right to print, publish, broadcast, and use universe-wide in any media now known or later developed at any time or times, the winner's name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, and biographical information for any purpose, including but not limited to, in advertisements, publicity, and other communications without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. All decisions of the judges shall be binding and final.

  6. DISQUALIFICATION: Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware, software or web site. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer or telephone transmissions or technical failure, jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions, for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, howsoever caused, or other error of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic. Entrants found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Promotion, as solely determined by the judges, will be disqualified. If disqualified for any of the above abuses, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate entrant's eligibility to participate in the Promotion. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be in violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion if any fraud, virus or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prizes at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment.
  7. TAX INFORMATION: All federal, state, local, and other taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the applicable winner or the winner’s parent or legal guardian, if the winner is a minor in their state of residence.
  8. DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Michigan, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Michigan, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Michigan.
